ABOUT
FA Euro New York is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth soccer organization based in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York. Established in 2013 by Joe and Marco Balsamo, FA Euro provides elite young players with a pathway to play at the professional and/or collegiate levels.
The Club combines a player-centered, player-development-focused training model with resources and connections to colleges/universities and professional clubs worldwide, ensuring players are prepared to take the next step when the time is right.
Beyond developing exceptional players, FA Euro is dedicated to shaping outstanding individuals. Through personalized feedback from coaches, support staff, and technical personnel, players receive the guidance and mentorship needed to excel on the field as well as off it.
On December 21, 2024, FA Euro New York proudly achieved full MLS NEXT pathway status, solidifying its position as a premier destination for youth soccer development.
Diamond Shape
The diamond shape of the logo symbolizes the player pathway. The bottom point represents the grassroots level, where every player begins their journey. The left and right points reflect the choices players make, whether to pursue a collegiate or professional pathway. The top point signifies achieving greatness, both as a soccer player and as a well-rounded individual.
Circular Emblem
The circular FA Euro emblem at the center of the logo combines tradition and identity. The “Euro” and “Football Association” text reflects the Club’s mission and its roots in European soccer methodologies, while the classic soccer ball honors the history and tradition of the sport with its timeless design.
New York Skyline
The New York skyline in the logo reflects FA Euro’s pride in its location, proudly representing New York City as its home. The “New York” ribbon boldly highlights the Club’s identity, celebrating its roots and connection to the local community.
Colors: Navy Blue and Gold
The Club’s colors hold deep symbolic meaning. They honor Modena, the city where Joe Balsamo made his professional debut, while also representing the European Union. These colors reflect FA Euro’s foundation and its commitment to European soccer methodology, inspiring excellence and development at all levels. The stripes also pay homage to AC Milan, as the Club and its founders have historic ties to the Italian organization.
