BREAKING: FA Euro New York is delighted to announce FORZA Player Management, an in-house player agency that will represent elite talents and place them in various professional teams across the globe.
Led by Club Executive Director Marco Balsamo, Igor Martun, and Nigerian international Peter Odemwingie, Forza Player Management is a natural extension of FA Euro's long-standing commitment to developing and readying players for the professional level. Forza Player Management will represent the Club's top players (as well as other current professionals) and place them via the Club's/Management's extensive working relationships with USL, MLS, South American, European, and Asian clubs.
"With the recent emergence of players like Alphonso Davies, Giovanni Reyna, and Weston McKennie, there has been a breakthrough of North American talent that has caught the attention of clubs around the world," comments Executive Director Marco Balsamo. "The Club wants to be at the forefront of this growth as we tirelessly seek to promote as many of our players onto the world's footballing stage. We've had recent, great success developing players who have gone on to play professionally like Conor McGlynn and Leo Folla in the USL and Leo Štulac and Nicolò Cannalicchio in Europe. As we grow and expand our partnerships with professional clubs, we want to give many more players the opportunity to live their childhood dreams."
"During my time with CSKA Moscow playing with players like Odemwingie, each player was driven to be the best they can be. We all had a fire within us. We were steadfast on achieving our goals and worked tirelessly for it," comments Igor Martun. "The football world is a lot smaller now and there is more opportunity and resources for players than ever before. We will work hard for the players coming out of the club to realize that same dream we had when we were players. Forza Euro!"
"I have seen firsthand, the very beginning stages of North American players making the jump to Europe through Oguchi Onyewu and Michael Klukowski, both who are former teammates and good friends of mine," exclaims Peter Odemwingie. "At the time, it was incredibly rare to see a North American player playing in Europe. Both Oguchi and Michael arrived in Europe around the same time as me during our time in La Louvière, Belgium. I know all too well the hunger and desire for North American players to make their mark and I definitely see an opportunity of creating something unique and positive with Forza Player Management and FA Euro New York."
More information regarding Forza Player Management, along with the first player to be represented, will be announced shortly.
