FA Euro New York is proud to announce that its MLS NEXT teams (U13, U14, and U15) will play their home games for the 2024 MLS NEXT Spring Season at the College of Staten Island. This marks an exciting step in the Club’s growth, bringing elite youth soccer to Staten Island and expanding its presence within the New York City soccer community.

The College of Staten Island offers top-notch facilities that will provide an exceptional match-day experience for players. As FA Euro continues to grow and compete at the highest levels of youth soccer, this expansion to Staten Island reflects the Club’s commitment to developing talent and making high-level soccer accessible across New York City.

Marco Balsamo, CEO of FA Euro New York, shared his enthusiasm for this new chapter:

“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint to Staten Island by hosting our MLS NEXT home games at the College of Staten Island. Staten Island has a passionate soccer community, and we’re excited to bring MLS NEXT competition to this borough. This move represents our commitment to growing the game across all boroughs and providing our players with the best resources to develop and succeed.”

In addition to hosting games at this premier venue, all MLS NEXT matches will be live-streamed through the Club’s partnership with GameInFrame, ensuring broader accessibility for those who want to follow the action from anywhere.

Vincent Balsamo, Club Director of Operations, added:

“Expanding to Staten Island is a natural step for the Club, and we’re confident that this move will enhance the opportunities for our players and families. The facilities at the College of Staten Island are outstanding and will serve as an excellent home for our MLS NEXT teams.”

The MLS NEXT Spring Season offers a glimpse into the elite competition and talent that will define FA Euro’s expanded pathway, set to launch next Fall with a full program spanning from U13 to U19.

Club President Joe Balsamo also shared his excitement:

“This is a proud moment for FA Euro as we continue to grow and reach new communities. Bringing MLS NEXT competition to Staten Island reflects our mission to inspire and develop young talent across all corners of New York City.”
